Dear Ithaca Friends,

I love being in the Northland amid the Venus Transit last evening, breathing naturally outside is as it should be, without stabbing chest pain. My personal experience is that the summer pollution in Atlanta makes it often painful to breathe for those of us with compromised lungs.

It is a treat to see familiar Ithaca faces here and there, and I hope that some of you will be able to drop by the Elaina Designs Jewelry Trunk Show weekend after next, June 14-17.  The show is happening in my renovated Green Door Barn Studio located on my land at 167-1 Calkins Road, Ithaca, NY 14850 (click on the address for a map). Look for Early Bird on Rt 13 just South of Ithaca, and turn onto Calkins Road next to the nursery.  Head up, veer left onto the dirt road section that says Inlet Valley Homeowners Association, and around the bend take the first driveway on the right #1.  (Please drive slowly at 15 miles per hour.)The show kicks off with an opening reception on June 14, Thursday evening, 5PM-8:30PM and will continue into the weekend, June 15-17, Friday-Sunday 11AM-6PM.  Please feel free to contact me (678)662-6156 or email me at lp@elainadesigns.com
