Green Door Studio Show & Sale, May 30 – June 1

Life events invigorate one’s sensitivities; as an artist I attempt to distill my personal experiences into a composition on the canvas of precious metals.  I pay close attention to the cosmos…moon, stars and planets influence my designs and the incomparable night sky in Hawaii provided many sources of inspiration.  I’m hoping that from my current perch in Ithaca, NY, I can discover new designs within my psyche and manifest them into jewelry.  We throw open the Green Door with a studio show, sale and party on Friday night for Ithaca friends in the gallery.  Please drop in for eats and sweets, and view fresh collections from the “Hawaii Series”, jewelry designed last fall on the Big Island as I grieved my Papa’s passing, and “Winter Blues” designed in Ithaca as I retreated and recovered from a mold event in Atlanta. Yuck turned precious.

Gleefully I am feeling well enough to plan travel with my husband David and to do trunk shows in Deer Isle, Maine over July 4 weekend at Fibula North, and a combined a visit to see my son, Orion Hanson, in Skagway, Alaska with a show at Jewell Gardens on Friday August 15.
