Summer Inspiration
Greetings, friends of Elaina Designs!
Recently David and I took a trip to Sapelo Island, GA where lazy beach-combing offered intriguing, fresh shapes into my jewelry designs. While gazing upward yesterday at the Venus/Jupiter conjunction the muse called again. Blessedly I have lots of time this summer to let my imagination wander while recovering from surgery to repair the arthritic toe joints in my left foot. I cannot walk for at least 8 weeks, yet I eagerly await the wonders inherent in going within to heal.
The Atlanta Studio 8 will be closed July 4-26 as I recover and while Aalia spends time in Ithaca for an apprenticeship with Elaina Design’s master goldsmith, Fareed Abdulky. Please hold on to your repairs and special orders and we’ll be happy to help you upon our return to Atlanta Studio 8 on July 27. Please call Lainey’s cell (678) 662-6156 to schedule an appointment.
